Sampled case files from the Division's central office of parolees and inmates discharged from the Wisconsin State Prison, Wisconsin State Reformatory, and the Wisconsin Home for Women between January 1955 and June 1967. Files typically include a photograph, summary face sheet, admission investigation, social investigation summary, initial interview, parole board transcript, parole board appraisal, chronological history, medical records, psychiatric records, correspondence, and administrative records relating to confinement and parole. This series is a sample from the central office's files for cases between T51,281 and T118,140. For institutionalized men every tenth case file, beginning with a randomly selected number, was retained. For institutionalized women all files were retained.
