Abstract:

Records of the Division of Departmental Research, including materials pertaining to studies of land acquisition by the Conservation Department, highway construction and maintenance, microwave communications, and centralized accounting and pertaining to state agencies such as the Aeronautics Commission, the Department of Agriculture, the GAR Home for Veterans, the Department of Health (and its Bureau of Vital Statistics), the Motor Vehicle Department, Poynette Experimental Game Farm, the Bureau of Purchases, the Public Welfare Department, and the Treasury Department. Documentation on the Governor's Committee on Highway Safety and the Governor's Committee on Higher Education in the Lake Shore Area pertains to the division's role as policy advisor to the governor.
