Abstract:
Letterpress copies of outgoing correspondence relating to the compilation, correction, and recopying of Wisconsin's Civil War records in accordance with Chapter 244, Laws of Wisconsin. 1885. Several members of the AG staff are represented, but letters signed by F.L. Phillip, Assistant Adjutant General, are most common. All volumes are internally indexed by name.
