Abstract:

A daily record of the governor's official activities, including legislation, requisitions, pardons, appointments, proclamations, and other official acts. Commissions, appointments, and pardons listed in volumes A1 and A2, 1859-1867, are indexed in a separate volume. For commissions, the entry also shows rank and military unit or recruiting purpose to which commissioned; for appointments, the entry shows office to which appointmented.
