Kohler Jr., three-term governor of Wisconsin from 1951 to 1957, including speeches and veto messages (some in recorded form), legislative files, and extensive correspondence and memoranda exchanged with state and federal departments, organizations, and private citizens on a wide range of topics. The entire series is also available on microfilm. Well represented state agencies include the University of Wisconsin, the Aeronautics, Conservation, Highway, and Public Service commissions; the Agriculture, Motor Vehicle, Veterans, and Public Welfare departments; and the Governor's Committee on the Employment of the Physically Handicapped.
