Papers filed in civil and criminal cases and other proceedings before the court. Contents of the files vary but may include summonses, complaints, motions, depositions, testimony, orders, judgments, verdicts, and a record of appeals. A number of cases pertain to John F. Deitz and his disputes with lumber interests and the local authorities, 1904-1923; voluntary bankruptcy assignments, 1890-1895; civil cases, 1890-1915; and a number of miscellaneous legal documents filed with the court, 1885-1931.
