Abstract:

Records of the Wisconsin National Organization for Women (Wisconsin NOW), a statewide feminist organization, documenting its work on issues such as the Equal Rights Amendment, marital property reform, reproductive rights, and homemaker's rights. Included are task force and issue files, state council minutes, state newsletters, conference information, policy manuals and bylaws, and individual chapter files. These records include organizational plans, notes, correspondence, news releases, and informational packets. There are also newsletters and correspondence from related organizations, especially the Wisconsin Women's Network.
