Abstract:

Papers of Norman C. Anderson, a former Democratic speaker (1971-1976) who represented Madison in the Wisconsin Assembly (1957-1958; 1961-1976). The collection documents Anderson's legislative activities with extensive information on environmental legislation, including the 1966 Water Pollution Control Act and an Outdoor Recreation Act.
