Abstract:
Notes, reports, and tape recordings made by Matson Holbrook, including oral history interviews with Milwaukee, Wis., residents about education and industry there, particularly the tanning industry, and readings about the Wisconsin tanning industry, specifically the Rueping Leather Company in Fond du Lac and the Pfister and Vogel Leather Company in Milwaukee. Most of the interviews have been transcribed.
