Fragmentary papers of David Bradley, M.D., Wisconsin-raised writer, teacher, and member of the 1940 U.S. Olympic ski team. The papers consist of correspondence, drafts, and other materials concerning his book on the Finnish people, Lion Among Roses; dispatches sent the Wisconsin State Journal from Finland following the “winter war” in 1940; references to his experiences as a doctor with the Bikini Atoll atom bomb tests of 1946; and a semi-autobiographical essay by his father, Dr. H. C. Bradley. English
