Abstract:

Records of the Wisconsin Surgical Society, a statewide association of surgeons; documenting medical treatment developments, the Society's efforts to promulgate and enforce a code of ethics for its members, and its reaction to legislation affecting the profession. The major portion of the collection consists of programs and papers presented at semi-annual meetings. Also included are articles of organization and bylaws, minutes, correspondence, membership materials, newsletters, and other documents.
