Records of an organization of local groups devoted to promotion of conservation at the state level, including minutes, membership lists, and meeting materials, but consisting primarily of the correspondence of WFCC official Les Woerpel with state conservation officials and elected officials. Correspondents include Glenn R. Davis, Frank N. Graass, Lester Johnson, Walter J. Kohler, Melvin Laird, Joseph R. McCarthy, Reid F. Murray, Henry Reuss, Oscar Rennebohm, and Alexander Wiley. Letters concern water pollution, hunting and fishing seasons, game wardens, and protection of scenic areas among other topics.
