Abstract:

Papers of Hattie Oden Young, the mother-in-law of Senator Robert M. La Follette, Jr., consisting chiefly of letters (1932-1933) to her daughter Matilda (La Follette's sister-in-law), including frequent references to Senator La Follette and current political issues, and occasional mention of Philip F. La Follette. Other letters to Mrs. Young and genealogical notes and deeds concern the Young family.
