Abstract:
Papers of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Roland B. Day, documenting his judicial career (1974-1996) as well as his work as chairman of the Wisconsin Bicentennial Committee on the [U.S.] Constitution. Committee records compiled by Justice Day include agendas; minutes of local, state, and national planning meetings; correspondence; programming and activities information; financial records and budgets; newsletters; publications; speeches; and interim and final reports. Justice Day’s papers also include general correspondence; administrative memoranda, minutes, and reports in connection with his role as head of the Wisconsin state court system; speeches, both by Day and others; subject files; and a photographic portrait of Day.
