Abstract:
Films and other material of Fritz Albert, a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and former professor in the Department of Agricultural Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He produced films for the Department of Agricultural Journalism, the UW-Extension, and the Wisconsin Land Tenure Center. His films explored issues of land use policy, rural development, natural resources, the environment, as well as agriculture and farming in Wisconsin. The collection also includes film and video recordings produced by other staff from the UW. Also includes photographs documenting land use and agriculture in Wisconsin, and in South America, Gambia and Indonesia; film scripts; correspondence and greeting cards in German and English to Fritz Albert; and newspaper clippings and background information.
