Abstract:
Records of Joint School District No. 2, formed in 1951, and three schools that preceded it. Records include minutes of district and board meetings, financial records, pupil registers, school censuses, teacher contracts and other records and reports. Joint School District records consist primarily of meeting minutes and financial information (1951-1969). The most complete records are from Salem Center School, District No. 5 (1865-1949) with scattered records from Brass Ball School, District No. 3 (1870-1949) and Paddock Lake School, District No. 2 and 9 (1865-1876, 1945-1949).
