Abstract:

Premium books for agricultural fairs in northern counties and the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. The books list the date and locations of the fairs; the rules for the competitions, exhibitors, and judging; fair regulations; and fair officials. Also listed are the classes to be entered and the prizes. Advertisements for area businesses and fair events are often included. Of interest is a full-page advertisement for Gene Holter's Wild Animal Show to be held at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. It includes photographs and descriptions of the events.
