Abstract:

Administrative records and individual city school records of the Eau Claire School District, 1878-1986. Administrative records include board meeting minutes, 1910-1930; curriculum and course of study records, 1899-1932; reports sent from and received by the city superintendent, 1890-1975; bulletins and correspondence, circa 1902-1970; essays on the history of Eau Claire Public Schools, circa 1950-1985; and records pertaining to school management and activities, circa 1931-1982. Individual city school records include lists of high school graduates, 1878-1956; high school events and programs, 1892-1986; Bartlett School centennial and historical essays, circa 1964; Silverbrook School curriculum proposals, 1965-1966; and records pertaining to the closing of Central Junior High, 1982.
