Abstract:
Microfilmed real estate and personal property assessment rolls and tax rolls for towns, villages, and cities in Dane County, excluding the city of Madison. Most tax rolls show owner's name; range, town, and section; description of land; number of acres; valuation of real or personal property; and amounts of taxes levied for town, county, state, school, poor, and road tax purposes and for special assessments. Also shown are total tax, by whom paid and date, delinquent taxes returned to the county treasurer, collector's fees, and remarks.
