Abstract:
This collection consists of seven episodes from the half-hour television program Barefoot in the Park, which was produced by Paramount Television and aired on ABC from 1970-1971. This sitcom was based upon a play by Neil Simon, detailing the initial years of marriage between attorney Paul Bratter and his wife Corie, who lived together in a tiny studio apartment in New York City. The series cast is predominantly African-American, making it the first American television sitcom since Amos 'n' Andy to have a predominantly black cast.
