Abstract:

Files, primarily 1958-1962, of Daniel Sklar, a member of the legal department of Ziv Television Programs Inc. and, after its purchase by UA, of ZIV-United Artists Inc. (see Series 15G). Included are draft and final contracts, correspondence, and memoranda. Only unproduced series and produced series which aired during the years 1958 to 1962 are represented. The files concern actors such as Gene Barry and MacDonald Carey and writers such as Sam Peckinpah and Sidney Sheldon, although a few files concern discussions with CBS or other general production matters.
