Abstract:
Grant files of the board that distributed funds from the federal government and the Wisconsin Advanced Technology Foundation to local school districts, CESAs (Cooperative Educational Service Agencies), and public libraries to foster the use of technology. The collection also includes minutes and financial information of the Wisconsin Advanced Technology Foundation. For administrative purposes, the board was attached to the state Department of Administration. It was abolished in 1997 and replaced, in part, by TEACH Wisconsin.
