Abstract:

Materials compiled in 1979 to document the history of Public Health Nursing in Wisconsin from 1920 to 1979. Records include newspaper clippings, photographs, reports, articles, and correspondence. Also included are two photograph scrapbooks. One scrapbook documents the Public Health Nursing involvement with Native American clinics in the 1930s, while the other is a memorial scrapbook on the life and work of public health nurse Theta C. Mead.
