Abstract:

Materials, 1964-1973, from the Wisconsin State Employment Service, a federal Department of Labor program designed to help workers find permanent jobs in Wisconsin. The collection largely consists of contracts, memos and reports between the Department of Labor and various subcontractors and businesses taking part in the employment programs. Besides organizational files there are specific job postings and contracts and memos specific to various counties in Wisconsin.
