Abstract:

Subject files including memoranda, speeches, and correspondence regarding state boards, agencies, and councils. There is also material related to important cases and legal issues. Materials relate to such subjects as abortion, extending voting privileges to 18-year-olds, pollution, consumer protection, inmate issues, and drugs. Many accessions also include case files which contain correspondence, court documents, and background information. Also of note are files related to Father James Groppi and the Dow Chemical demonstrations.
