General correspondence, 1950-1966, of the Division of Mental Hygiene pertaining to community mental health clinics in Wisconsin. Records include correspondence, articles and publications, and reports by clinics. Major topics include patient and physician referrals, clinical and statistical reports, and confidentiality of patient records. Also included is correspondence with the Citizens' Advisory Committee on Community Mental Health Resources, a committee responsible for developing policy, programs, and legislation for county institutions related to services for the mentally ill.
