Abstract:
The collection consists of one scrapbook that belonged to the paternal grandfather of Agnes Widder, Frederick George Haigh (1892-1963) or his mother, Mary Hartnell. The Haigh and Hartnell families emigrated from England in the mid-1800s and settled near Salem, Wisconsin. The 97 postcards in the album depict life, recreation, and travel destinations in Wisconsin, notably Kenosha, Green Bay, Cumberland, Salem, and Lake Geneva.
