Videocassette copies of motion picture footage shot by Eugene
Millmann of events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as a few other locations, mostly dating
from the 1920s to the 1930s. The collection contains twenty-six separate clips, including
the 1927 Milwaukee parades for aviators Charles Lindbergh and Lester Maitland, the
Washington Park Zoo, Milwaukee's 75th and 100th anniversary parades, the 1951 visit of
Douglas MacArthur, and the Muirdale Sanitorium. The footage totals 77 minutes in length, is
in both black and white and color, and contains no sound. The footage was originally on 16
mm film. English
