Abstract:
Subject files of John Solon, assistant chancellor from 1965-1974. Solon was involved in the campus physical plant, and influenced the growth and administration of the campus. This included buildings (bought and built) on and off campus, housing issues, security and community relations. Many aspects of the campus community are documented, particularly Solon's involvement with faculty concerns, student organizations, hiring procedures, buildings bought and sold by the campus, campus development, and campus protection.
