Abstract:

Investigation files, reports, correspondence, history, newspaper clippings, nuisance complaints, a tape-recorded hearing, photographs, and pending investigation files of Students to Oppose Pollution (STOP), a summer intern program sponsored by the Department of Justice. The investigations were to gather information to be evaluated by the department's attorneys for possible prosecution. Investigations focused on air pollution, foundries, power plants, solid waste, and paper companies.
