Abstract:

Papers collected by Sophie Celichowski regarding members of the Zawodny, Celichowski, and Jagodzinski families, together with materials about Company K, 127th Infantry, 32nd Division, Wisconsin National Guard. Included are military service certificates of her father, Captain Joseph Zawodny (1881-1942), an officer of Company K; papers from an extended family visit in Poland in 1921-1922; letters to family members from Stanley E. and Madeleine Zawodny while stationed in California during World War II; a golden jubilee album of Bronislaus Celichowski, a Milwaukee priest; a roster and numerous photographs taken by Capt. Zawodny at the Company K army camp in Texas in 1916; and other items.
